Leadership, Collaboration, and Community
Platform
Hello, my name is Janice Richison, and I am running for Hampton City Council. My journey began in Hampton on August 1988 at Hampton University as a Graduate student. Over the past 36 years I have been richly and deeply rooted in all facets of education where I have taught and served students as a teacher, administrator, district-administrator, and mentor in the academic areas of grades 6-8 general mathematics, Pre-algebra, and Algebra; grades 6-8, Earth and Physical Science; and grade 8 Civics and Economics. I firmly believe that we must be proactive in generating our own wealth – physically, emotionally, and financially. Hampton is a, “Hidden Gemstone” that can shine brightly nationally and internationally when we as members of this community aspire to accept only the best for all key stakeholders as it relates to leadership, our community and collaboration.
